Design screen for POS in Petrolimex gas station for partnering project in HDBank
FEATURE
The problem: A no-cash project promotes the use of Petrolimex card point system for all the gas stations. The design needs to adapt to the POS which has a limit color display and small screen.
My role: Research, wireframe creation, high-fidelity, prototyping and animation to align design with the project goal.
What I did: Doing secondary research, iterating design based on feedback and research. Conduct user testing, emphasized people's problems to improve the design.

The problem
The POS is mostly used outside and focuses on workers around mid-thirty and don’t understand much technology. With the limited choice of colors and small screen, the design and colors have to be straightforward, easy to use, and visible in bright light situations.
The solution
We started with a thorough user research assignment on the market. Then we drafted a new customer experience map and designed the UX and UI for each situation.
The main concern we have to resolve when designing is making all operations short and easy to remember and sometimes it is difficult to tap in some areas of the POS touchscreen which leads to a simplified design with bigger touch points.
The final product after various user testing processes is the current look after many wireframes, prototypes, and back to enhance the user flow. The design uses complex colors but still fits our new design system with fewer steps and simpler interactions to help shorten the employees's training process.
